Abstract: Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, crossing Pearl River Estuary sea area, was designed with a service life of 120 years. A great challenge of the construction is to improve concrete structure durability of the large cluster engineering at marine environment with high temperature and high humidity. Research perspective of concrete durability pre-assessment is shown in the paper. Durability and anticorrosion measures based on long age performance, control of durability construction quality and durability maintenance at later age are introduced too. Results of the paper can support the concrete durability strategy of the bridge main project.
