Abstract: The objective of this work is to understand adhesion phenomena between bioadmixtured cement
materials and formwork surfaces. In previous works, the surface texture of the bioadmixtured
cement pastes has been evaluated employing dynamic contact angle analysis. The results have
demonstrated a modification of the cement paste behavior on contact with water. An original
procedure has been designed in order to evaluate the demoulding effort between cement and
formwork after 24 hours of curing. Surface topography of bioadmixtured cements pastes, just after
demoulding, is in the process of being analysed at microscopic and submicroscopic scales by
interferometry and AFM so as to consider curing conditions effects.
