Abstract: The proposal of the complex numerical model of young concrete, included prediction of the temperature, moisture and stress field in 3D concrete structures is presented in the paper. The model considers many of relevant features of the hydration and ageing of concrete, in a format suitable for its implementation in the general framework of the Finite Element Method. There are also presented the computational implementation of the proposed numerical model and examples of numerical analyses in the spatial concrete elements. The presented analyses were made with the help of original programs: POLTEM (numerical simulation of the thermal fields in hardening concrete), POLWIL (numerical simulation of the humidity fields in early-age concrete) and MAFEM (numerical simulation of the stress state and the effort level in hardening concrete). The objective of the experimental program presented in the paper is to study the temperature, humidity and the stress distributions in all phases of concrete curing. The temperature, moisture and stress distribution measured in 4 concrete blocks were compared with the numerical model.
