Abstract: ECC is a stress-hardening, highly ductile cementitious composite, but the major studies are limited to a laboratory scale without experiences in full-scale plants. This may interfere practical applications of the ECC. Full-scale mixing experiments of total 15 batches were executed, and mechanical and fresh state properties were tested. It was proven that the ECC was able to provide high fresh and mechanical properties. Me-chanical properties including compressive and tensile strength were examined and the standard material properties necessary for the structural design were obtained. A tensile performance control method using flexural test in actual manufacturing processes was studied.
