Abstract: This paper describes a technique to join precast parts of textile reinforced concrete with hybrid joints. These are based on jackets with a welded collar that are inserted in subsequently drilled boreholes and bonded to the concrete. Hybrid joints combine the advantages of a good load transmission into the composite material with the possibility to easily assemble and disassemble complete structures. Through a proper composition of geometrical and material-related parameters, the ultimate resistance of the whole structure is not reduced by the joints.
