Abstract: The material behaviour of Textile Reinforced Concrete under tensile loads can be modelled as uniaxial in a first approximation. Despite this simple geometric approach, the model gets complexity, because of the applied nonlinear bond laws as well as the limited strength of the materials. A mechanical model as well as a numerical implementation based on the Finite Element Method are presented for the denoted problem. With this model, some parameter variations on unidirectional reinforced tension plates are performed to get information about the influence of the percentage of reinforcement on the structural behaviour. The results show qualitatively the characteristics observed in the experiments.
