Abstract: During erection a skeleton cast-in-situ reinforced concrete building, shrinkage volume deformations of the vertical reinforced concrete members (column fragments) produced in natural conditions of the building site were investigated. As well as shrinkage volume deformations of identical plain concrete column fragments produced in normal conditions of the laboratory building. Volume changes of hardening concrete are compared and discussed. Special features of the investigation techniques are also presented.
