Abstract: Rheology of fresh industrial SCC is investigated from vane shear flow measurement. Flow curve of concretes are obtained computing a characteristic strain rate when the cylindrical gap between the rotating vane and the cup is partially or fully sheared. The method is preliminary tested and validated on simulated data of yield stress fluids, then applied to SCC. This allows flow curve of SCC to be built and specific rheological parameters to be evaluated: initial yield value, dynamic yield value and critical strain rate.
