Abstract: Effect of activated coal gangue and fly ash on hydration process of high C3S clinker during 360 days at the water/binder ratio of 0.3 was investigated by XRD, isothermal calorimetry, differential scanning calorimetry and strength test. The results showed that during the early period of hydration the effect of coal gangue on acceleration hydration of high C3S clinker was better than fly ash, but during the late period of hydration the reactivity of fly ash was higher than coal gangue.
