Abstract: A new technique, which was conducted by the electrical measurement combined with heat-release progress, was used to measure the early hydration process of cement paste by varying water-cement ratio (w/c) and fly ash replacement, and consequently the paste characteristics were analyzed. The different hydration periods were identified from the resistivity curve and the differential temperature curve. The advanced method determines that the hydration behaviour of the different cement paste was adapted by the signal processing scheme.
