Abstract: Erosion substances are identified and time-space effect on erosion substances of paste specimens with 35% limestone powder immersed in sulfate solutions (MgSO4 ) with 33800 ppm mass concentration of SO4 2-at 5 °C±2 °C for 15 weeks are investigated. Erosion substances change from four-phases system including ettringite, gypsum, thaumasite and brucite to three-phases system including ettringite, gypsum and thaumasite, and then to twophases system including ettringite and gypsum only from surface to interior. Degradation about thaumasite form of sulfate attack in cement-based material is layer to layer with thaumasite formation and C-S-H gel decalcification.
