Abstract: In this paper, the methods of stimulated concrete pore solution and loaded direct current were used to stimulate the corrosion environment of stray current and chloride ion coexistence to research the effect of stray current on chloride ion threshold concentration causing steel bar corrosion. The results indicated that stray current had influences on the process of chloride ion-induced steel bar corrosion. The chloride ion threshold concentration of induced steel bar corrosion was related with not only alkalinity of pore solution, but also stray current intensity under stray current and chloride ion coexistence environment. The chloride ion threshold concentration decreased as stray current intensity increased. The relationship of chloride ion threshold concentration between alkalinity of pore solution and stray current intensity was built.
