Abstract: In this paper, the results of the main factors affecting the calcined system of dolomite, such as calcined temperature of dolomite, grain size of calcined dolomite and additional content was obtained according to fractional factorial experiment. In addition, the performances of the ternary cementitious system mixed with Portland cement, light-burnt dolomite powder and fly ash were investigated by examination of physical properties and SEM methods. Experimental results show that the ternary cementitious system indicate satisfactory strength and generally demand more water than the relative pure Portland cement. And the strength of ternary cementitious material at 3 and 28 days decrease obviously by the addition of fly ash content.
The morphology of the ternary system also was investigated by SEM.
