Abstract: Carbon fiber/sulphoaluminate cement composite (CFSC) was prepared by pressing process. Its piezo-conductance effect was investigated. The experiment results indicate as following. The conductance of CFSC with 0.5% carbon fiber was sensitive to the stress change. Based on the piezo-conductance effect, CFSC could sense the loading stress on itself.
At the same time, the piezo-conductance effect of CFSC had good repeatability and stability.
Therefore, CFSC can sense exactly the stress on itself based on its piezo-conductance effect.
