Abstract: The work presented here is the first step of a project aiming at developing a predictive model for concrete structures under leaching attack based on a probabilistic approach. For this purpose, a large experimental campaign is being carried out simultaneously with the development of a numerical modelling for leaching.

This paper presents the different measurements performed on the samples from two real building sites and moulded during the building operation: compressive and tensile strength, Young modulus, water porosity, electrical resistivity and degradation depth after ammonium nitrate accelerated degradation tests. The first experimental results are presented.

The second aspect of the study concerns the modelling of calcium leaching using the Finite Volumes Method, and a model has been developed and validated on experimental data from literature. This model is presented here.
