Abstract: Especially important for many cases of application appears to be not so much the high strength of high performance concrete, but the significantly increased durability against chemical attacks compared to customary concretes in use today. An Accurate prescription as to what measure is factually necessary for which chemical attack, is always difficult. It is well known that the chemical attack progresses very slowly and it is furthermore also not predicable, for how long given concentrations are, in fact, effective. The possibilities of high performance concrete with improvement is possible which in the case of the tests was 4 times as great as that achievable by the reduction of the WIC ratio from 0.55 to 0.45.
