Abstract: The effects of fly ash, calcium oxide expansive admixture coated with aluminum stearate, calcium aluminosulfate expansive admixture and polypropylene fiber on the physical and mechanical properties, shrinkage and cracking behaviors of alkali-activated phosphor slag cement were studied. The results show that substituting 10~15% fly ash of phosphor slag and adding calcium oxide expansive admixture will reduce the shrinkage of alkali-activated phosphor slag cement. Fly ash will increase the flexural strength though the compressive strength will be slightly decreased, while calcium oxide expansive admixture will slightly shorten the setting time and reduce the strength. Adding calcium aluminosulfate will lead the alkali-activated phosphor slag cement to rapid setting and can not be used. The results also show that adding polypropylene fiber can greatly increase the cracking-resistance of the alkali-activated phosphor slag cement.
