Abstract: The recycled aggregate was soaked in cement paste whose water-cement ration is 0.50, 0.25 and dosage is only half. The performance of recycled concrete made from this soaked recycled aggregate was measured, and the traditional process and the two-stage mixing process were compared and analyzed. It was found that the recycled aggregate soaked in cement paste can indistinctively improve the compressive strength of recycled concrete, and there is a linear relationship between the strength of recycled concrete and the water-cement ratio of cement paste: the higher the ratio is, the lower the strength is. The longer the soakage is, the lower the slump is and the higher the strength is. The two-stage mixing process could not only improve the compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of recycled concrete but also improve its working performance. Meanwhile, the discreteness of the strength of concrete made this way is small. The recycled concrete prepared by the traditional process also show high compressive strength, high tensile strength and low discreteness of strength and this process is quite simple.
