Abstract: Waste concrete recycling and utilization for new concrete in civil engineering has received increasingly growing interests in recent years. Recycled concrete is used in some industry developed countries extensively. It is still at developing status in China. This paper examines the existing concrete waste recycling practice in China, including research and utilization aspects. The modern experience in some well developed countries is summarized. And then, based on the current status of China, the develop prospects are analyzed.
