Abstract: A novel method for the numerical long-term simulation of reinforced concrete structures strengthened by textile reinforced fine-grained concrete layers is introduced. Artificial neural networks are applied for model-free predictions of uncertain long-term material behavior. Recurrent neural networks trained by experimentally or numerically obtained results of uncertain stress-strain-time dependencies are considered as material models in finite element analyses of textile strengthened reinforced concrete structures.
