Abstract: All over the world, initiatives are taken that fill in the principle of chain management in construction, as well as the closing of the building cycle. As a consequence, the topic "General approach to reuse and recycling in construction" is an important point of interest in the proceedings of the "International RILEM Conference on the Use of Recycled Materials in Buildings and Structures", which was organised by RILEM TC 198-URM. This contribution provides an overview of the projects that are described in above proceedings (topic 3), whereby the "Building Cycle" model is chosen as structure.
