Abstract: The recycling of old asphalt has gained ground over the past few years. There are several methods to reuse reclaimed asphalt during road maintenance and reconstruction works.
Despite being in situ or in plant, it is possible to have "hot-mix" recycling or "cold-mix" recycling. Evidently the recycling of asphalt has many advantages. However, some limitations need to be considered. Reclaimed asphalt should therefore be subjected to a rigid inspection before being reused.
