... the first female RILEM President was Prof Rachel Shalon, elected in 1960? Prof Shalon was also the first female engineer in Insrael. If you are a PhD student or recently graduated PhD from any of the countries listed here, you might be eligible to apply for the RILEM PhD grant for the 75th RILEM Annual Week in Merida, Mexico, this year. Further details about the grant are available here! Applicants must have an accepted abstract at the event.
