Call for 2026 RILEM medallists

Since 1975, RILEM evaluates proposed candidates for the prestigious Robert L’Hermite Medal. The medal is awarded to a young researcher of less than 40 years, who has made an exceptional contribution to science.

In 2016 RILEM introduced a new award, the Gustavo Colonnetti Medal. Up to two medals are awarded per year to researchers of less than 35 years, who have made an outstanding scientific contribution to the field of construction materials and structures.

This year the jury will be composed of :

• Materials & Structures Editor in Chief: Prof. Giovanni Plizzari
• RILEM Technical Letters Editor in Chief: Dr Mateusz Wyrzykowski
• TAC Expert: Prof. Arun Menon
• EAC Member: Prof. Marijana Serdar
• TAC Expert: Prof. Gabriele Tebaldi
• Secretary: Mrs. Judith Hardy, RILEM Secretary General, non-voting member

Applications should be submitted in electronic form to the RILEM Secretariat General at j.hardy[@]rilem.org no later than 31 October 2025 at 12:00 U.T.C. If you have not received an email message confirming receipt of your application within a week, please send it again. Awardees will be notified by early December or mid-December.
