Bridge monitoring by mobile app
It is called “Crowdsourcing Bridge Vital Signs with Smartphone Vehicle Trips”. It is a MIT study that shows that a application installed in the phones of people crossing a bridge by car can collect accelerometer data useful to detect the bridge’s structural integrity. More here!
