Proceedings pro129 : 2nd International Conference on UHPC Materials and Structures UHPC 2018 - China
The first International Conference on Ultra-High Performance Concrete Materials and
Structures (UHPC2016-China) was held in Changsha, October 27-30, 2016. More than 350
participants from 20 countries attended the conference, and 78 papers were selected for
publication in the RILEM Proceedings of Pro 105.
During the past two years, UHPC developed rapidly in construction projects worldwide,
particularly in China. Significant progress has been achieved in fundamental research and
application of UHPC technology, which is reflected in the Proceedings of the Second International
Conference on Ultra-High Performance Concrete Materials and Structures (UHPC2018-China).
The Organizing Committee of UHPC2018-China received over 100 papers and 83 papers were
selected for publication in the RILEM Proceedings of Pro 129. Many outstanding experts on
UHPC have been invited to give presentation and share their latest findings in this international
gathering. This Conference Proceeding covers several key aspects of UHPC science and
technology, including raw materials and mixture design, preparation and mechanical properties,
volume stability and durability, microstructure and fiber reinforcement, new structures,
application in existing structures, guidelines and specification.
We are deeply appreciative of the financial supports from the sponsors. Finally, we would like to
thank the members of the Organizing Committee and International Scientific Committee for their
diligent work in bringing this conference to success!
